Amy Scrivner is a graduate of Olathe South High School, a nonprofit leader, and a candidate for Overland Park City Council Ward 3. She currently serves as the development and communications director for BikeWalkKC.

After graduating high school, Amy Scrivner did what a lot of young folks in Kansas do - she left. Amy found a calling in nonprofit work and has helped raise millions of dollars for historic preservation, social services, healthcare, workforce development, veterans, and people with disabilities.

Amy returned to Kansas in 2016 to help care for her father after her mother died. Now a resident of Overland Park, Amy lives within walking distance of her father’s memory care facility. She hopes more people make the decision to come back to Kansas. 

Amy is running for City Council to make Overland Park a community that people of all ages, young and old, want to call home.
